As Indian Premier League (IPL) is about to end with just two matches left and like the previous 13 years this year IPL has given chance to the young generation of India to show their talent on the field. Every year IPL provides the Indian team with a new energetic player which increases the team capability.

Back in 2013 two players made their debut in IPL 2013. Both players made their IPL debut and then they were on the big screen in International cricket. The players whom we are talking about are named Jasprit Bumrah and the other one is Sandeep Sharma. Jasprit Bumrah started his career at the age of 19 as a fast bowler with an eccentric bowling action. Jasprit Bumrah started his career in IPL with Mumbai Indians (MI) against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He took 3 wickets in his debut match in IPL against RCB. He picked up the wickets of Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarwal, and Karun Nair in his debut match in IPL. As he was unable to play more than two matches but in those two matches, he made sure that the world remembers him.

Then the two fast bowlers took off on a very different journey. Sandeep Sharma had an impressive start to his career and made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe for India in 2015. It was a poor debut for him, and in the two matches he played, his numbers were 1/73 in 7 overs. Sandeep has never played for India again.

Both bowlers were a great asset to the respective teams they played in, yet only one bowler was applauded for his performance while the other was still waiting for his reception. It is high time that Sandeep Sharma was given the respect and recognition he deserves as a bowler.

Sandeep Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are currently playing for the Hyderabad and Mumbai Indian Sunrisers, respectively. Both teams are fighting to get to the IPL 2020 final.
