Analysis: CSK, on losing their last game, will keep an eye for utilizing their batting talent either to score or to chase. The likes of Murali Vijay, Shane Watson, and, Du Plessis could help out to add stability in top-order. Whereas, in the middle-overs, Dhoni and Curran can form a smashing duo. Piyush Chawla, if will not take wickets, can at least maintain his low economy, and Jadeja, Jadhav, Chahar, and Ngidi can be wicket-taking assets.

On the other hand, Shikar Dhawan is always known to smash hard at the opening, and pairing with Jason Roy can be deadly for their opponent. Rahane, Iyer, and Pant, along with Stoinis will add on some runs in their middle-overs whereas, they can tie their major hopes with Rabada for grabbing early wickets.
