IPL 2020: KXIP vs RCB, Match 6, Predicted playing XI and analysis

IPL 2020: In the match 6th of the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are all set to give a massive challenge to each other.

Both sides are featuring in their second game of the league. Virat Kohli’s side earlier faced the Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) and with new confidence, they defeated David Warner’s army. Whereas Kings are yet to win their match as on facing Delhi Capitals, they lost.

The game between DC and KXIP would have been of KL Rahul if there was not an error by the on-field umpire calling for the short-run.

The pressure on both sides will be leveled as Kohli’s men are overwhelmed by their first win whereas, Rahul’s side will try to regain their momentum using every trick to win this game. The predictions of the TheSportsMag are with KXIP today.

RCB: Predicted playing XI: Aaron Finch, Devdutt Pattikal, Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, Josh Philippe, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav, Dale Steyn, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini.

KXIP: Predicted playing XI: KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, Chris Gayle, Sarfaraz Khan, Glenn Maxwell, Krishnappa Gowtham, Sheldon Cottrell, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammad Shami.

Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

Toss: 7:00 pm (IST)

Match: 7:30 pm (IST)

Analysis: RCB, having Finch and Pattikal, can form a deadly opening combination. The top four batsmen including Kohli and De Villiers can make the side stable scoring an ideal. The bowling likes of Chahal, Steyn, and Yadav are far more deadly trio than any other franchise currently.

On the other hand, KXIP, having Rahul as an opener along with Agarwal might be more than stable. They have Chris Gayle in their mid-overs who is known to be the hard-hitter of the bowl. Ending with Maxwell can designate a might score or run chase. They might collide in the bowling line-up as they have Cottrell and Shami who can bring consistency.
