Analysis: For CSK, Rayudu and Du Plessis can add needed runs at opening whereas, Watson, Gaikwad, Dhoni, Curran, and Jadeja can help them add stability at their respective positions. Dhoni has been fabulous despite what happened in CSK’s last match but it was normal as a sportsman and he still is a great leader. Jadeja, Chahar, and Piyush Chawla can pick some massive wickets as they will be trying to maintain their momentum today.
On the other hand, Agarwal and Rahul can be the best opening duo in the IPL history as they rank first and second respectively in the orange caps list. They might try Gayle and the remaining batting lads, Maxwell, Pooran, and Jordan can be consistent in mid-overs in T20. Their bowlers, Shami and Bishnoi are going pretty fine. Cotrell, who lost the momentum, hit back in KXIP’s last game.
