IPL 2020: Top 3 players who can be eliminated by their teams

The Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is going on at the floors of UAE in full swing. All eight teams are trying their best to be in the playoffs. However, some of the players from different franchises, who were at their best earlier, but have failed to impress this season.

The franchises are suffering from some of their players and might try a change in their next games. Here are the top three players who have flopped in the ongoing season.

IPL 2020: Top 3 players who can be eliminated by their teams

1: Sunil Narine:

The Caribbean player is the best so far but he has miserably failed in the ongoing season of the league. Being capable of bowling in powerplay and batting at top-order, he has been known as one of the consistent players since IPL 2012.

He has failed in all four matches, clinching just 27 runs at a strike rate of 87.09 and an average of 6.75. Even with the ball in hand, the finger spinner has picked just 2 wickets at an economy of 8.50 and an average of 59.50.

2: Karun Nair:

Karun Nair of the Kings XI Punjab is struggling yet after being featured in four matches of IPL 2020. The side holds a perfect opening duo of Rahul-Agarwal but Nair’s failure has cost them in mid-overs.

They might try changing the lad and notably, in the ongoing KXIP vs CSK, Nair is no more their part. After facing a lot of criticism, he has only 16 runs at a strike rate of 114.28 and at an average of 8. Mandeep Singh might be chosen for the rest of the matches as his replacement.

3: Kedar Jadhav

The Chennai team is facing harsh times as they have managed to won one out of four games. With a brutal start against the Mumbai Indians (MI), Dhoni’s commanding side lost their next three games consecutively.

They have to look for stability in mid-overs as Kedar Jadhav, who made his comeback in 2018 after a two-year ban, has failed in all four matches. He was known as the hero of IPL but in the current season, he has smashed 51 runs at a strike rate of 108.51 averaging 17. Also, in 2019, he had the worst SR and average. CSK might look for a better all-rounder to fulfill their woes by dropping him and giving chances to youngsters to prove themselves.
