After the fifteenth case has been reported across the franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Delhi Capitals have become the third franchise to hold the COVID-19 positive case. Earlier, as many as thirteen cases were spotted from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) that was shocking enough to digest a vast number of cases at once of the same camp. Later, the fourteenth case got spotted from Rajhastan Royals, as their fielding coach caught the symptoms.

The assistant physiotherapist of DC has been tested COVID-19 positive and has been sent under isolation immediately. To keep him in the open air, even in a bio-secure bubble with other players, might have been hazardous. Hence, it was pretty sensible to isolate him at the moment to avoid further spread.
