Chris Gayle did not receive the praises he deserves: Dwayne Bravo
Chris Gayle is a man who dominant his T20 career but remained underrated and did not receive the praises thy way he shall have received. Chris Gayle has crossed the margin of 13,000 T20 runs and the gun is still loaded. 13,000 runs in the T20 cricket are the most smashed by any all-time player.
Dwayne Bravo, an all-rounder from West Indie, thinks that Gayle has not been lauded with the credits for his credentials. The batsman has smashed 13,296 runs in 404 matches that include the milestone of 22 centuries as well. Bravo, who retired in 2018, thinks that Gayle deserves more appreciation and no one can beat his domination in the T20 format.
“Chris Gayle doesn’t get the accolades he deserves as being the best T20 player in the world,” Bravo was quoted as saying in ESPNcricinfo.
“But hands down, there will never ever be another T20 cricketer like him. No matter how much you try, there won’t be someone as good as Gayle. It’s impossible to dominate the game like how Gayle does,” Bravo said.
Gayle last played his T20 match for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) where he represented Chattogram Challengers in the 2020 edition.
When talking about T20 international cricket, he has scored 1627 runs and holds the record of hitting most sixes (105) in T20I.
