Early morning on 1st September, Tuesday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have welcomed their two stars of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).

South Africa’s Faf Du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi have reached Dubai to get featured in the cash-rich T20 league. However, after what CSK camp has gone through, both players have been directly sent into isolation to avoid further spreading.

It is to be noted that Suresh Raina, the senior player of the Yellow Army, has left for India, Punjab, after his family went through a serious tragedy.

Also, the reports hint at absence of Harbhajan Singh after listening to the situation that has made him worried.

Upon being testing, as many as thirteen CSK players were COVID-19 negative that indeed was an alarming sign for MS Dhoni’s leading side. However, the next test has been cleared by all of the contestants. One of the tests it still to be negative for featuring in the practice matches.

Notably, the league is to be kicked off from 19th September but the formal schedule is yet to be announced after COVID-19 has struck Dubai.

It has been said that the franchise might miss the inaugural matches and could be subjected more time for well being.

“We hope that everything will be sorted out over the next few days and we will be able to come up with our best performance in the IPL,” a source was quoted as saying in The Times of India (TOI).
