The Forbes has released a new list of top hundred highest-paid athletes on Friday. Fortunately, the Indian cricket skipper, Virat Kohli, has become the only cricketer to feature in the list of top hundred highest-paid athletes.

Kohli has earned an estimated amount of $26 Million in the last twelve months out of which $2 Million belong to his winnings and rewards.

Roger Federer, the notable name in the world of tennis, has become the top athlete who earns more than anyone. His worth in the last twelve months has been estimated as high as $106.3 Million. After him, the soccer stars, Christiano Ronaldo ($105 million), Messi ($104 million) and Neymar ($95.5 million) and American basketball player LeBron James ($88.2 million) are below Federer in the list.

Virat Kohli has caught limelight after being the only cricketer among top hundred athletes featuring in the Forbes’ newly released list of highest money-makers.

Surprisingly, on comparing to the last year Forbes’ list, Kohli has jumped 30 spots above in the newly released list which undoubtedly is a massive jump.

Kohli has been leading his side wisely and made many times to the winning points, however, his form and captaincy are the factors that, nowadays, are going through a lot as Virat Kohli, after being a good player, has failed to make in the final stages of the ICC events.
