The match fifty-five, that was the second last league match of the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) has been played between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Delhi Capitals (DC). It was a must win game for both sides as the confirmation ticket directly to the playoffs for them but luckily, RCB despite losing, have been qualified ending on the third spot.

DC, who were in the poor form as they lost the last four consecutive matches, made an incredible comeback and chose to bowl after winning the toss. With RCB giving a decent target of 153 by 120 balls, DC easily chased it sparing six balls with Ajinkya Rahane being the top-scorer from both sides.

As of now either Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) or the Sun Risers Hyderabad (SSRH) can be the fourth team to get qualified for the playoffs but there can be a twist for SRH if they will be defeated in the hands of Mumbai Indians (MI) tonight giving a clear way to KKR in the playoffs.
