Shahid Afridi leaves LPL 2020 for his hospitalized daughter
Galle Gladiators’ skipper, Shahid Afridi has left the league midway to join his sick daughter in Pakistan who suddenly has been hospitalized.
on Wednesday, Afridi tweeted that he has to leave in between amidst the personal issues and will rejoin when he will tackle these issues.
The circulating news speculates his daughter’s health as a reason for his leave. Earlier, he already joined late as he missed the flight.

In Afridi’s absence, Bhanuka Rajapaksa is likely to captain the team. However, he is originally the vice-captain of the team. The team has played their first game in his captaincy today.
