The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed a fifteen-member squad ahead of a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The first match is scheduled for 30th October and the playing XI is to be dug out from the mentioned below fifteen players.

Imam-ul-Haq, Abid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam (c), Haris Sohail, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Wasim, Usman Qadir, Wahab Riaz, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Musa Khan

Notably, the board has dropped Mohammad Hafeez, Haider Ali, and Abdullah Shafiq despite their major role in the recently held National T20 Cup. It was expected that the players will be featuring against Zimbabwe but despite being a part of the twenty-two member panel, they have eliminated from the ODI squad. The fans are willing to see them in a three-match ODI series.

Also, the mid-over batsman, leg spinner, Shadab Khan is to miss the first ODI amidst his leg injury. As he has been stable since the last PSL in scoring runs, the team might lack in mid-overs.
