The skippers of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul respectively, were in a live Instagram session where they discussed many things.

The players, off the field, enjoyed the candid conversation as Rahul hilariously replied Kohli to one of the questions. When he was asked if he would like to change anything in the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rahul said that he would like IPL to ban Kohli and AB de Villiers.

The duo of Kohli-De Villiers is going exceptionally in the ongoing season and scoring runs for the team. Rahul sarcastically said that it is enough and they should give space to other players for scoring runs.

“To start off, I think I would ask IPL to ban you and AB for next year. Once you have achieved a certain amount of runs, I think, the people should say ‘it’s enough’. Once you get 5,000 runs it’s enough, now you guys let the others do the work,” Rahul told Kohli during the candid convo.

Furthermore, Rahul added that he would like to see more runs on six that cross over 100 meters. Replying sarcastically, Kohli added that his bowlers will look at him harshly if he will agree with this opinion of KXIP’s skipper.

“If I say yes to what you said, the bowlers are going to give me looks in the change room. I am going to say as captain, I would like to have the ability to review a wide or a no-ball which could be a waist-high full-toss. We have seen historically how big these small things can be, in such a high-profile IPL and T20 cricket,” he added.
