Babar Azam tells to stop comparing him with Virat Kohli

Babar Azam, the talented Pakistani batsman and the master of cover drives, is known to be a consistent batsman among all formats and the backbone of the national team. His form has been notably brilliant as he has risen like a shining star. Veterans lauded him with praises and people often do compare him with Virat Kohli.

Recently, Tanvir Ahmed, ex-Pakistani paceman, has suggested Babar improve his English speaking skills and to maintain his personality. He was highly mocked by the fans for an odd piece of suggestion.

“I’m a cricketer, my job is to play cricket. I am not a ‘gora,’ who knows English completely. Yes, I am working on it, but you learn these things over a period of time, you can’t just suddenly learn it,” said Babar as quoted by PakPassion Editor Saj Sadiq.

“It is an honor for me to captain Pakistan in ODIs as well,” he said.

“I take advice from Misbah Bhai and senior players with regards to captaincy. It is not easy to lead the Pakistan side but I will try my best to ensure the team produces good results in ODI and T20I cricket. I believe in attacking captaincy like Imran Khan,” said Babar.
