County Cricketers agree for pay cuts till July, no domestic cricket till July
Earlier, the Professional Cricket Academies (PCA) and 18 county cricket states have decided on the pay cuts.
As amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, there is no cricket for months, the cricket boards are making no money and are suffering financially. The financial disturbance is depriving them to pay their players the regular amount.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is one of the boards that are getting financially ill hence, the country cricket will no longer be able to pay England cricketers.
Consequently, the county cricketers have collaboratively agreed on pay cuts and will not be receiving the regular amount of salary till July. The domestic cricket will be kicking off after 8th August in England.

Earlier, Worcestershire all-rounder and PCA chairman Daryl Mitchell said: “This has not been an easy decision and causes a great deal of disruption to many of our members. However, the PCA Players’ Committee ultimately agreed this is the right thing to do.”
Mitchell continued: “Working collaboratively through this crisis has always been one of our top priorities and I appreciate the collective spirit of these discussions with the first-class counties, particularly at this most challenging of times.
“The understanding and support I have had from the PCA Players’ Committee and senior players around the counties have continued to be vital.
“As a group, we have been in constant communication to ensure we are supporting the interests of all professional players in England and Wales while being alert to the need for players to play their part.”
England Cricket Board (ECB) has revealed that there will be no professional cricket in England till July. England and Wales’s cricket has been suspended amid Coronavirus outbreak at least till June.
Coronavirus outbreak has marked a suspension in sports activities for an indefinite period of time. There are no estimated chances for cricket to take place in the near future. The England Cricket Board held a meeting where they decided to postpone all cricketing activities till July.
