The thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is almost on the termination stages with only playoffs and final remaining. With the untired efforts of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), the matches have been held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in full swing but the only thing that was missing is the spectators amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.
The board did not give up anyhow and have finally made it as the league is about to be ended. As of now, the teams have shown their remarkable performances grabbing wickets and competing each other to score more runs, to hit more boundaries.
Talking about the Purple Caps, no one has got the potential to beat Delhi Capital’s Kagiso Rabada who has grabbed 25 wickets in the season. However, Jasprit Bumrah from the Mumbai Indians (MI) is just two wickets far from him. As MI and DC both are in playoffs, the fate can be swiped.
However, despite so many efforts, no one has defeated Kings XI Punjab’s KL Rahul when it comes to scoring runs as he has ended with the top-run scorer (670) in 14 matches. But his tireless efforts could not drag his team till the playoffs. He is the current Orange Cap holder and David Warner, being second on the list with 529 runs will require at least two more innings two break the record – in case, if Warner stays constant crossing the score of 60 in each match.
