The Proteas star, AB De Villiers, who plays for the Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has said that he can bowl an over or two.
With no experience in the bowling tournament, he sarcastically objected in an interview that if Kohli will tell him, he can have a bowl in his hand.
AB De Villiers ready to bowl if Kohli needs him: IPL 2020
“I’ve always joked with Virat (Kohli) and I told him two nights ago, ‘If you need me with the ball in hand, I’ll be there’. I’ve never been a great bowler but I love toying around and keeping things fresh out there,” AB said in an episode of the ‘Bold Dairies’.
The player revealed that he is not habitual of UAE’s weather conditions and it reminds him of a test against India. However, the humidity is getting better as the days pass but it will be definitely hitting the er’s performance at the venues.
“I’m not used to these conditions, and it reminds me of a Test we played in July in Chennai. Viru (Virender Sehwag) scored a hundred, and the humidity is similar to that. It seems to be getting better. It’ll definitely play a part, and it’s important to save that energy for the last part of innings,” the Proteas cricketer said.
On the contrary, Virat Kohli is known to be an aggressive skipper, but the player has never led his Red Army to target the victory in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The men in the squad are competitive and have polished every move to win the IPL 2020.
