Tom Banton and Pat Cummins to undergo six days quarantine
The cricket players from England and Australia, that have reached UAE on Thursday, will have to follow the different quarantine rules according to the base of their home/venues. The players, with Dubai as a home base, will be eligible to be the part of their respective squads without a six-day quarantine only in case if they will be COVID-19 negative.
On the contrary, the players, who have to head at Abu Dhabi, will be subjected to a six-days quarantine mode. In the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), only Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have Abu Dhabi as the home base and out of these two, MI, not having any Australia/England player, will not be suffering from a week quarantine.
Tom Banton and Pat Cummins to undergo six days quarantine
KKR, that have Eoin Morgan, Tom Banton, and Pat Cummins, will send the trio in quarantine to be ended on 23rd September. All three players will not be available for KKR’s opening match as they are ready to show their frenzied performances at UAE destined venues. They are subjected to play their first game against Mumbai Indians on 23rd September.
