Nasser Hussain, the well-known name among the British cricket commentator, thinks that Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian cricket captain, was the reason behind making India a tough team.

He has raised Ganguly’s captaincy skills and said that he made the side tough. When playing under Ganguly’s captaincy, the side knew they were in a battle.

Nasser Hussain has reckoned his respect and maintained the veteran as a reason behind the revolution of the India Cricket.

“Sourav made the Indian cricket team a feisty side. He made the side tough, and when he was captaining the side you knew you were in a big battle with them. I have huge respect for him as a captain as he started the revolution of the Indian cricket team,” Nasser Hussain said on the show Pit Stop on Sony Ten.

He further maintained praising England’s short-format captain, Eoin Morgan. According to Nasser Hussain, Morgan is the calmer and coolest captain who has selected the best side to play for his country. The players like Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, and Jason Roy are found as perfect for the white-ball cricket.

“He has done such a fine job leading the England white-ball side. The best aspect of the site is that they look to express themselves well. Another important aspect of this side is their selection. They have gone with players who are good white-ball cricketers such as Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, and Jason Roy among others. More importantly, Eoin is known to be someone who is calm and cool as a captain,” Nasser Hussain said.
