The Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). The player sustained an injury in his ankle during the first game of SRH that was played against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
While bowling his first over, he had to walk off after with two balls remaining out of six. However, he came back stronger when SRH needed a batsman on the tenth spot but was not lucky enough as he got out on a golden duck. After his ankle injury has been found disturbing, he is not able to play hence, has been ruled out. It is a big blow to the Orange army as they have lost their star all-rounder.
In place of Marsh, the side will be contesting West Indies’ Jason Holder. Holder is known to be the most underrated all-rounder. However, he does not have a good IPL so far. Being featured in eleven matches, the player has 38 runs in his name in five innings played.

It might be a golden chance for Holder to prove himself this season. The West Indies based all-rounder has represented SRH in the past few years but played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) back in 2016. He also has played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) under MS Dhoni’s leadership.
It is to be noted that SRH are scheduled to play their second match against KKR on 26th September at Abu Dhabi.
