Analysis: MI’s opening duo of Sharma-De Kock can be stable at the times. Their mid-overs is versatile as Ishan Kishan’s abilities are not hidden to score big. Along with Suryakumar, Kishan will be looking forward to stable the score. Pandya, who is known for his hard-hitting, has all-rounding abilities as well. On the other hand, no one can forget the massive sixes of Pollard he used to hit in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Their bowlers, Bumrah, Boult, and Chahar are economical along with grabbing crucial wickets. Chahar went wicketless in the last game but will be hunting the prey against the Royals.
Royals, who won their initial two matches, scored 200+ in both matches as they chased in their second game and targetted their opponent in the first. They were out of luck in the next two but their opening duo of Buttler-Smith will be looking forward to something big this time. Samson along with Parag and Tewatia can run-adding men in mid-overs. Whereas, the bowlers, Curran, Archer, and Ankit can contribute to grab the wickets.
