The former Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan, does not believe that the replacement for talented Harbhajan Singh exists to make in the camp of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Although Pathan possesses a few names in his mind, he says that these 3-4 contestants would not fulfil Harbhajan’s void. The veteran has served CSK with his passion for taking massive wickets since 2018. Earlier, he was the part of Rohit Sharma’s top side, Mumbai Indians (MI) and has been the part of IPL since its first season.
Difficult to find Harbhajan’s replacement for CSK: Irfan Pathan
“I have hope and I personally also want that Suresh Raina comes back, there is a chance for that,” Irfan was quoted as saying on Star Sports.
“But getting a replacement for Harbhajan Singh will be very difficult. It won’t be easy to find a quality off-spinner like him in domestic cricket. They are trying as well. I have got some information as well that the CSK team and management are considering the names of 3-4 off-spinners but the void created by Harbhajan Singh’s absence is very difficult to be filled,” he stated.
However, one of the closely related friends of Singh has revealed the reason for Harbhajan’s parting ways in the midst with CSK. He had uttered that cash was the last thing when you got an awaited family apart for a few months. His friend also cleared the confusions saying that the rising CSK COVID-19 cases were not the warning for him.
As a few believe the older informal reports declaring the spinner might part ways with the Yellow Army after thirteen cases have been reported at once, the speculations are now clear.
