The final of the thirteenth version of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is to be played between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Mumbai Indians (MI).
Notably, DC have entered into the final for the first time in the history of the IPL. Although they made it to playoffs twice back in 2012 and 2019 but could never succeed.
The youngster Shreyas Iyer has wisely commanded the side as DC began their journey with a win against KXIP in the super-over. Later, they stayed on the top of the points table for a longer tenure but slid down after they faced a few back-to-back losses.
People are wishing to see the new winners this time as MI already have clinched four trophies – more than any other franchise being the most successful IPL team.
