The availability of international players is going to be one of the major problems as flights among several countries has been suspended indefinitely. Dhoni’s leading franchise thinks it would be rather good to organize the league later this year than playing without international players.
“CSK is not keen to do an IPL with only Indian players. That way it would be playing another Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (domestic T20 competition). The franchise has not been in touch with the BCCI of late as the situation is worsening. Let’s hope we can have the IPL later this year,” a source said as quoted by The New Indian Express.
