Ben Stokes to join Rajasthan Royals in the first week of October
Ben Stokes, professional England’s all-rounder, is likely to join the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the first week of October. The news has not been formally posted but it has been confirmed by many reliable sources.
Stokes, who left Pakistan vs England test series in midways, is in New Zealand as his father was diagnosed with brain cancer. The management is humble to him as Andrew McDonald, the head coach of the franchise has revealed that Stokes can have as the time he requires to be with his family.
He will soon be leaving the destination to join RR’s squad at the earliest. The player seemed excited to meet the Royals’ family as he started training in Christchurch already.

It could have been a major blow to miss his services in the middle-overs as he is known to be an aggressive batsman and a wicket-taking bowler. Indeed, the news is good for RR as they started their campaign of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by a magnificent win against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their inaugural match.
