Abdul Razzaq, the former Pakistani cricketer thinks that India will maintain their winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup either ODI or T20, forever.
According to Razzaq, Men in Blue step in the ground with enhanced confidence against their arch-rivals, Pakistan whereas, Pakistan men are always used to be nervous in front of them which led them to a humiliating defeat.
In an interview, Abdul Razzaq stated that India Cricket Team will always dominate over Pakistan as they have never lost a single game of World Cup against them. He mentioned that Men in Green had the utmost opportunity in 2011 Semifinals but they did not utilize it and lost once again. Also, he revealed Indian men know how to absorb the pressure against their opponent and Pakistan men don’t.
Abdul Razzaq: India will keep winning World Cup games against Pakistan
“India will continue to maintain that record. It is rare that India and Pakistan play each other in knock-out matches of ICC events. They mostly play in the league stage and India are favourites. Our players are not able to absorb the pressure that comes with this game,” the 40-year-old said as quoted by Hindustan Times.
“The pressure builds on the players though it is like any other match. The players are not confident about beating Men in Blue in World Cup,” he said, adding Pakistan had the best chance of beating Men in Blue in the 2011 edition.” said Abdul Razzaq.
Back in 1992, when Men in Green under Imran Khan’s captaincy won the World Cup finals against England, they did lose against India in group matches then as well. Not a single win in any of the World Cup organized by ICC and they also rarely have reached to the knockout stages.
